Politics can easily become part of our identity. We have candidates we support, issues we care deeply about, and convictions about the direction our country should take.
But NextGens have raised an important concern: Sometimes it looks as though our politics are shaping our Christianity rather than our Christianity shaping our politics.
Jesus calls us to something higher. We can participate faithfully in civic life without allowing a party, political leader, ideology, or national identity to take the place that belongs to Him alone.
